The time has come for the first official round of implementing edits for my next intended release, On the Flip Side! While I do not yet have a publication date in mind, I enjoyed reading the first draft for the second time throughout June and July and am currently working through the editing notes I made during this read-through. Right after publishing The Crush in 2020, I contemplated giving up on being an indie author entirely. One of the only things that kept me going was the fact that I’d made a commitment to finish writing and publishing the second and third books of The Ballad of Emery Brooks trilogy, and I was going to stay true to my word and release them.
