Meet Beloved

Beloved is a ministry leader and Christian Romance Author born and raised in Miami, FL. She spends much of her time studying the scriptures and has a gift for sharing the Gospel. Through her debut novel, Beloved hopes to inspire youth to seek God whole-heartily, knowing there is nothing impossible with Him on their side!

Author Interview with Beloved

Q1: When did you first feel that God called you to be a Christian author?

I believed God called me to be a Christian Author about a year or so before I wrote The Daily Life of Hailey Grace.

Q2: How long did it take you to finish your first (published or unpublished) WIP? Please explain any obstacles you experienced and how you overcame them.

It took me about two years of off and on writing before I published my first novel. I had quite a few obstacles of sticking to a writing schedule while trying to make a living and continue to walk closely with Jesus Christ and not compromise my faith and belief in Him.

Q3: Out of all the characters you’ve written about, who is your favorite and why?

I would say my favorite character is Hailey Grace so far. Mainly because she lived a life of courage and was completely honest about her doubts and fears. Hailey was far from perfect and reminded me that God still uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things.

Q4: Which authors in your genre inspire you the most?

I would say Collen Coble inspires me the most. I love her writing style and reading her novels are like watching a movie. She’s anointed, and I’m blessed to have her books on my bookshelf.

Q5:  What is your biggest writing distraction?

My biggest writing distraction is when life happens. Life happens to us all, and sometimes it can really demand our attention in one way or another.

Q6: How do you balance time with your family and/or job and writing?

I’m still working on time management. Every day presents a challenge and I find myself praying more and more to balance my writing along with family, and God’s overall purpose and plan for my life. Let’s say life is an adventure! And I’m just getting started!

Q7: What’s your go-to snack when you hit writer’s block and need a pick-me-up?

Yum, this is totally my kind of question! My go to snack is potato chips! Gotta bag?

About The Daily Life of Hailey Grace

For Hailey Grace, birthdays suck! She hopes with all her heart that her big day passes without gifts, or even a birthday wish. But with loving parents and two witty best friends who keep her on her toes, there’s no telling what adventure Hailey Grace will be forced to explore this time. Unexpectedly, her best friend Alex challenges her to do something she’s never done before. With that comes a whole new set of rules, and another life Hailey isn’t sure she’s quite ready for. Now questioning all that she has ever believed, she takes Alex up on the dare by asking for something that no one but God can give her. Her request also comes with a twenty-four-hour deadline. As the minutes slowly but surely tick by, Hailey’s life shifts into overdrive and she wonders if she has asked for too much too soon.
