Quick Author Life Update

Good afternoon, Arrowheads!

Time has gotten away from me over the past couple weeks and I have not been able to write a full blog post. My sister recently gave birth to her firstborn, so I’ve spent time visiting with her and our family at the hospital and their house over the past several days getting all the baby snuggles! I am absolutely head-over-heels in love with the newest addition to our family and am so excited about being an aunt for the second time! ❤

In other news, I’ve received feedback for On the Flip Side from my author bestie and plan on implementing her suggested edits this week and next week if time permits. One of my favorite parts of releasing a new book is reading through her notes, so I’m looking forward to working on this ASAP!

As far as completing Follow the Arrows goes… I made decent progress a few weeks ago and wrote over 1,000 words that day, but haven’t worked on it since then with everything else going on. It seems I always get into a writing slump when I’ve got edits for the next release on my mind too. Prayerfully, I’ll be able to work on the Bowling Book again soon.

Since this is a shorter post than I would have liked to share with y’all this week, is there anything on your mind that you would like me to pray for? Let me know in the comments!

Aim high, stay strong, and always hit your mark.

As an author and blogger, my goal is to teach writers that there is a way to write realistic, thought-provoking, redemptive Christian fiction that honors God while not sugarcoating the realities of the world.
