A few weeks back, I wrote a post called Recommending Music Artists Based on My Books. While that’s all fine and dandy if you’re a music lover, I’ve been thinking about it ever since, and decided that it may be more fun for y’all if I dig a little deeper and recommend BOOKS based on my own books.
The last time I gave y’all an update on my current WIP, On the Flip Side, I was feeling down in the dumps about my lack of progress in finishing the book. As you may recall, in December 2022, I began rewriting the manuscript from Chapter One after re-outlining. While I was happy with my new outline, I felt like I would never finish the book, especially since I was ten months into writing it at that point.
But then, in the eleventh month, God helped me get back on track. Keep reading for a complete opposite tale of what I reported in my last WIP Update!
Like many authors, when I’m in the process of brainstorming ideas for a work-in-progress, I like to make a playlist for the book on Spotify of songs that remind me of the book.
Though I’ve shared some of my playlists here on Authoring Arrowheads before, today I’d like to recommend y’all specific music artists based on my books. 🙂
Now that it’s been a few months since The Fall released, I’ve entered the first editing stages of the final book in The Ballad of Emery Brooks trilogy, The Dream. How are things going so far? Honestly, better than I anticipated.
*Heavy sigh* Well, here we are again, my friends. Another “update” for my current WIP, On the Flip Side where I attempt a reasonable explanation as to why I haven’t finished writing it yet.
Please don’t come at me in an angry mob, but I’ve got some things I want to share with y’all concerning the release of the final book in my Christian Young Adult Romance trilogy…
