I’m getting excited, y’all! Since my last update, I not only finished the first round of edits for my next intended release, On the Flip Side, but have also started the next round. More to come on that in a second!
The time has come for the first official round of implementing edits for my next intended release, On the Flip Side! While I do not yet have a publication date in mind, I enjoyed reading the first draft for the second time throughout June and July and am currently working through the editing notes I made during this read-through. Here’s where I’m at with the book so far!
In mid-March, I decided to crack open On the Flip Side for its first full read-through after finishing the first draft in September 2023. Here’s how it went!
Writing a book is hard. There aren’t many people who would argue against that statement. Editing a book, on the other hand, can be a whole ‘nother level of difficulty that can drive us authors insane as we chase perfectionism, if we let it.
The ultimate truth, though, is that besides the Bible, no book is perfect. Including ours. And that’s okay. It’s perfectly normal.
